OEM Licensing Business Models

Volm Network aims to offer flexible licensing business models to account for different use cases. These options include:

  • Per-Unit License:

    • OEM pays $0.10–$5 per device shipped with Volm integration.

    • Similar to how ARM licenses CPU cores or Qualcomm licenses modems.

  • Revenue Share:

    • Devices connected to Volm Vaults share yield.

    • Example: A drone earns $20/month → Volm takes 10%, the OEM takes 10%, and the user keeps 80%.

  • Hybrid (Most Realistic):

    • A small licensing fee + ongoing revenue share.

    • This incentivizes OEMs to deploy widely but still gives Volm recurring upside.
